PowerEnfo is a product of Empower Energy Technology, an energy engineering and solutions company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA and established in 2007. Empower Energy Technology is made up by a team of experts in Energy Management and Clean Renewable Solar Energy. The company has a long history of helping companies and building owners who are high-energy consumers that have expensive peak loads and pay a premium for their energy. By “empowering” customers with actionable energy intelligence, they can gain control and manage energy consumption within a building or across an entire organization.

Meet the Team
Mark C. Bell, President and Co-Founder
Mark C. Bell is a seasoned engineering and product management specialist with more than 20 years’ experience. He founded Empower Energy Technology in 2007 after successful tenures at such corporate icons as Cox and BellSouth. The high-speed Internet portfolio he managed for Cox set a company standard for growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and a master’s degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University. He has a seat on the board of directors for the Georgia Solar Energy Association and served as its chairman for a 1 1/2 term that ended in August 2014. He is also on the Board of the Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association and a member of the TAG Smart Grid Society.
Chuck Clarke, CTO and Co-Founder
Chuck Clarke has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in devising, managing and improving energy delivery systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and began his career in 1986 with respected global engineering giant Bechtel. He also has worked with the U.S. Department of Energy. He expanded on his experience with power system design through an entrepreneurial partnership, eventually founding Empower Energy Technology with Mark Bell in 2007. Now focused on sustainable energy and energy management, he has helped to lead Empower into its stature as a growing enterprise in the changing and dynamic energy market. In addition to his undergraduate degree, he has received graduate level training in civil engineering and construction management and holds NABCEP technical certification.
Mike Wadell, Product Development Manager
Mike Waddell had been honing his skills in the energy sector for over 5 years. With a business degree and his project management experience he brings a level of coordination and organization to the company to help it to grow. He managed projects for fortune 500 companies such as Kimberly Clark and UPS as well as Cox Enterprises and energy enterprises like Schneider Electric.
